Will a Leopard Change its Spots?

I was on msn today and I saw that a female friend had a photo of her and a guy (very cozily together) as a display picture and I wonder what it meant. Does it mean that she likes the guy and hence wants to declare it to the world and to the oblivious guy?

Why I am so concerned about this, you might ask? Well, the problem is the guy is a good friend of mine. And he’s really great and I care greatly for him.

Anyway, the two of them had a relationship during schooling days but the girl didn’t really treasure him and he was like a puppy so wrapped around her little finger when they were together. He would do anything for her, including ironing her clothes for her first job interview. He was really wonderful but she wanted a more mature man, one that can give her security (I mean financially as well) and he wasn’t the one…

So, when they broke it off, he took it quite badly and I saw my friend, unhappy. It’s been years but they are still in contact. Recently, they hanged out together as they have mutual friends and I am wondering e.whether a leopard can change its spots. After having bouts of unsuccessful relationships with mature men, is she going to try her luck with my friend? And will my friend once again fall for charms? I mean she’s quite pretty, intelligent and of course there’s the history that they shared together so what will he do? Of course I’m speculating here, cos’ I don’t know for sure whether she has made a move or maybe it’s my friend who has made a move.

Well, who knows for sure cos’ I haven’t spoken to my friend about this yet. In any case, I hope he knows what he is doing and I wish him well…
