Changes! Changes! Changes!

It's been almost two months since I am pregnant and although I love the thought of having a life growing inside me, the experience has not been eaxctly smooth sailing.

First, there's the morning sickness. Popular to contrary belief, morning sickness does not only happen in the morning but all the time!!! Although I had been lucky enough not to literally puke all the time, the feeling of nausea is horrible.

Secondly, my body is changing quite rapidly.... My tummy now has a slightly bigger bump; my chest area (umm) are significantly bigger; they are tiny bumps on my chest area that look like heat rash but I dont really know what they are except that they arer just there....

Thirdly, I am feeling so tired nowadays although I slept and rested enough. Normally, I would only need about 6 hrs of sleep and I'll be rejuvenated but now, I can sleep for 10 hrs and I'll still feel tired. Apparently, it's normal to feel tired in the first trimester of the pregnancy so I'll just have to get more rest.

Fourthly, I am on a short fuse these days.. especially with Hubby. Anyway be warned, please dont mess with me during the next 7 mths, I am going through lots of hormonal changes so it's like I am PMSing all the time.... So keep me happy if you dont want to incur my wrath! (hahaha)

Lastly, there's the food cravings.... I think my food cravings have been rather "tame" but I am sure it'll increase as time goes by. Just the other day, I wanted to eat Taiwan Porridge at St George's and everyone had to accommodate to me. And today, I was looking forward to eating curry puffs cos' Hubby will buy them after his Friday prayers, but he didnt!! So, I sent him to go get them for me... Poor thing.. Anyway, thank god he managed to find them and it was YUMMY!

Anyway, for those who ladies who are pregnant, here's a good website to read: http://www.pregnancy-info.net/topic_signs_symptoms_tests.html You can even try the calculator to calculate your due date!
